I would like to see what the new iMedian HD 7.0 software will bring when it has been revised (I installed 7.0 but it had bugs, so I reverted back to 6.01 which works well) -Side note, none of the iMedian software works with Dvico FusionHDTV Gold 5 cards,hardly anything works with these cards. Overall Review: Overall the control system works great.
The iMedian software can be a little clunky, I cannot get it to output Dolby Digital with my DVD's. The iMon software claims to show media file info on the display with XP Media Center, but it does not work for me, though it does work with the iMedian Media Center software. I'm a picky user, but I did have to dig in the iMon software and make a few tweaks to suite my tastes on the functionality of the system. You can power ON and OFF your PC with the remote.Ĭons: While this remote is customizable, a few "blank" buttons would be nice to add even more functionality. You can customize the display for news alerts, weather, email and more.
The display on the front allows you to play your music files without having to turn on your TV to cue them.

Once the hardware is installed, install the drivers and you're ready to go. The PC response to the remote is fairly quick and is adjustable. I am using Windows Media Center 2005 and it works very well. Pros: This remote is highly customable and can be setup to work almost any media program.
